Hey guys,

Someone came with the idea of collecting money to fight the RHD ban in Quebec as clubs instead of individuals. All the money will go to IVOAC.ca to assist with legal procedures started by a IVOAC member in Quebec, here's the link:

Great idea so I got the Delica community involved and within 2 days we already had close to $800 in contributions.

How about the RHD Toyota owners, shouldn't be a problem to do better?!?

IVOAC is finalizing how to collect the money but although each members could send their contribution directly to IVOAC it would be nice to have someone here tally the total for this club...

I don't own a right hand drive but I also don't like to get screwed by bribed, corrupt, and undemocratic government. I'll donate, who's next? If this wins in Quebec it will help out here when ICBC finally pushes for it. If they get it, what's next, no aftermarket lift allowed, no vehicle over 15 years old as daily drivers? These bastards have got to be stopped.

Yeah, I'll chip in. These assholes aren't giving up, they want our trucks gone and us in nice shiny new pieces of s***.
 
Thanks for posting this David. I haven't yet sent my contribution in. So mine will go with the club's. Maybe Rob would be okay collecting the contributions and then writing one cheque from the club. I suggest you bring your contribution to the June meeting. If there is a chance you won't be at the June meeting then you can probably mail it care of Steve at EBI, if you can't make the meeting. You can also do Pay Pal donations if that is easier. Just let me know what you donated so I can add it to the club total.

I've got $45 that's been sitting at PayPal forever and you're welcome to it but the above link comes up as 'fatal failure'. ( reminds me of my dating years lol!)

ForealBoreal I like your thinking! I looked for a HZJ77 for over 6 months until I finally test drove one (Simon's truck in Winterpeg) only to realize they'd be a bit too small inside for my camper plans. So I ended up buying a Safari and it's been a love story since! But eh, the 77 is an awesome looking rig!
