FJ80 vs. FZJ80 Fan Clutch

Does anyone know if the FJ80 fan clutch is the same as the FZJ80? I looked up the parts number on toyodiy.com and they’re different but just wanted to make sure. If they are different, does anyone mod our fan clutches like those with the FZJ80?

Just curious, if they are the same thinking about picking a pre-modded one from landtank, if not will just pick up an OEM unit.

They are not the same, the spacing between hub mount and fan is different. The ones that I have worked on don't have an adjustable valve. No a big deal, just change the fluid for thicker stuff and your good to go.

Thanks! That rules out landtank's pre-modded blue fan clutch. I'll just get the standard OEM clutch.

the fan clutch on my friends 91 was adjustable. but maybe it is the wrong one.
