I have searched for at least an hour or more and can only find reference to brand and wattage. I cant even find one of the original links with the proper size. I am looking for a 600w block heater that fits the freeze plugs. I have been looking at both Katz and Zero-Start but cant find the the exact one to order.
Thanks for the help.

NAPA AUTO PARTS

NAPA BK 6053250 Rear LH element orientation 11-12 o'clock
NAPA BK 6053133 Rear RH element orientation 5-6 o'clock

block heater OD - 35 mm 120 VAC

I'm curious, are you sure it's 50 mm? As those other brands indicate? Frost plugs tend to be pretty genaric.

I hope Mark W or some other current northerner can tell you which location would suit you. When I was a kid in Whitehorse I had 2 in my 283 V8, and between the two of them they'd melt the snow off the hood.

quick search found this. I guess since you're in California they arent' that common. In canada just give the year and engine size. Do you have a NAPA close by?

I hope this helps. J

I've got the Toyota ones, if you're interested in the part #'s. I believe they're still available... But I have to ask.... Fresno ?

I'm going off the SOR website description calling it out as a 50mm.

Yup, I screwed up. The 2H and 3B are 35 mm. The 2F and 3F are 50 mm.

Sor has block heaters, and the prices are okay, $45 for part # 052-50B. $59 for part # 052-50A.
I think one is for LH and the other for RH. Probably want to call and confirm which is best.

I'm in the middle of changing a heater core, and SOR is $441, and NAPA $75.

They show block heaters as well. Check prices is my advice.

zero start 400 watt. 3100071 (CDN 2200406 USA 880130)

Katz (I think this is for the 00 watt, but it might be a 400) 11612

Mark...

I had the empty package left over from an install (which is why I could not look at the unit to see what the wattage was... I can't think of any reason I would have had an empty package for a 41mm unit here, but I won't say that it is impossible. So, I can't promise that is the right number for that one. It is for the zerostart at least, that one I have here to look at.

Toyota block heater p/n 00213-00162
400 Watt
The actual plug has the number LR20976 on it. Made in Canada.
Instructions say to insert it in the "2nd from rear L.H.S. Lower side."
Measuring it, it appears to be 50mm.

FWIW, here's the placement in my engine.
