damn.. Keep us informed..

that would be JTO Outfitters, go figure, I think it's Mushro's sons running that place!

Oh yea...no harm was done to my cruiser. Never went under 32 psi:).

Ok back on the subject. Went to see if the check valve was stuck or something...well it is not BUT THE WHOLE INSIDE RATTLES AROUND separate from the outside of the filter.

You have a local independent oil change place? They might have one and be willing to cut it open for you... I am curious to see what is up.

Yes actually my buddy does .Let me see if he has one(as i am sure he does) and get back on here tomorrow;) I will have a new docking station then also.

Get to it ;)

Even if they say "Made in Japan," I wonder if they are Chinese/third world knock-offs. I'm sure Japan has their share of crappy manufacturers, but when you buy something cheap and it self destructs - that reeks of a counterfeit product.

yep....went and pulled one of the shelf and what do you know.....made in Korea.

but made for Japan

just run WIX and dont worry about it

Did not have a bigger enough pipe cutter in the shop and he is the only one in town sooooooo. I had to use a hack saw.

The first 2 pictures before i started hacking is what i was explaining last night.....just rattles around freely .

And those is all i see wrong(the before hack pictures) Not that i know what i am looking for. But i most add the paper inside was quite brittle

Oil pressure picture is just for current oil pressure:D at idle

I wanted to be sure it was not the old gauge(last night ) so i bi-passed the old one with this l-cheapo under the hood. And got a picture this morning for the hell of it

So you changed the filter and the oil pressure came back up? I a bit puzzled as to how a filter could account for a sudden drop in oil pressure.
