Local Knowledge? - NorCal 75 pig search - HELP

I am trying to retitle a classic NorCal fj55

The cruiser in question is in my profile pic for Ih8Mud

It's a '76 with a very distinctive black-on-white paint job from quite a long time ago, has an early Chevota swap(crate 350 and Turbo400), and I could swear was photographed in Toyota Trails.

The last time this truck was plated and registered was in '98! I bought it knowing this and unconcerned about the obvious hassle, it had been a ranch vehicle for a loooong time, and I had my own off-road intentions.

Come to find out, there is a way to get it retitled and registered, and the truck is just about road ready. Trouble is, I have to reconnect with the most recent registered owner.

DOES ANYONE ON MUD HAPPEN TO RECOGNIZE THIS RIG? AND, WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO REMEMBER ANY POSSIBLE CONNECTION TO THE CRUISER PERSON WHO WAS DRIVING IT IN THE MID TO LATE 90'S?

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A HEAD TURNING LC AT THE TIME, WITH A THROATY QUADRAJET'D 350 SWAP, WHITE WAGON WHEELS AND A DISTINCTIVE PAINT SCHEME.

Good call, yea the truck was on the road in the Grass Valley/Nevada City/Colfax area I think.

pm other pig owners in the area too, they usually know all the pigs in the closest 100 square mile range . not sure how close it is, but bkcruiser and pighead are both in norcal somewhere. they may recognize it.
