I spoke with Shrockworks, which is local for me, and when I have the money they will be adapting a set of their 4runner sliders for me to bolt on. The KDSS hydralic lines are in the way but they say they can work around them.

I did not do the install but my guy told me that the UCA was a pain in the rear because it was tough getting the OEM ball-joints out without damaging them.

He almost gave up using them and was going to just order new ones but gave it one last go at it and finally got them out.

This is the UCA I got and where I got it.

Bonner...Does this effect the ride height controls or the ride comfort controls? Looks sweet BTW!

The adjustable shocks/comfort control in the front were disconnected but the rear still works although it rides a bit stiffer because I adjusted the rear bags to have more air to achieve my lift. The comfort control is NOT as apparent when you roll down the highway because of the extra air in the bags. I am considering putting some Old Man Emu springs in to achieve a smoother ride versus the over inflated bags.

The ride height still works. My NEW NORMAL position was adjusted/tricked to be approximately the same as the STOCK High position at about 38". LO is about 36 3/4 and HIGH is just shy of 40" in the rear.

Hey Brett,

Yes, I still have my Pathfinder. I wheel it every 4-6 weeks with the Brian/College Station TX4wd group. Great group to wheel with and they wheel ALOT so there are lots of opportunity.

I didn't wheel my Lexus hard because the overgrowth/weeds/brush was crazy that time of year and am not ready to commit to new pin-striping yet.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't this your rig on the trailer in this picture? We were convoying to BVORR last year.

BonnerBB - Your truck looks amazing.. My wife and I own an 04 GX 470 but she is the primary driver. The issue is that the truck is equipped with KDSS and its not the best ride now with the air suspension system all jacked up so I would like to replace it with the best suspension to fit our needs. I just posted a thread here:Towing, Suspension, Misc.. - Club Lexus Forums in an attempt to find what will best fit my needs.

Your truck probably sits about .5-1" taller than one my wife will tolerate as a short person and kids coming. However, I suspect the suspension you chose has the option to adjust the height? Did you find anyone who did the OME suspension with any luck? I will be using this truck to tow another car often so I need to make sure the suspension can handle it while being practical for grocery shopping. It's not like we need to feel like a we're in a cadillac, just not harsh and bumpy..

Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looks good and thanks for all the pictures. What tire size was OEM and what did you move to?
