I've been chasing a squeak for a while now and need some suggestions. I had a passenger ride in the back and listen for it and seems to believe it is right near the driver side rear door or pillar behind the door. Has anyone tracked down a squeak in this area?

Any suggestion would be appreciated. This squeak has plagued me both before AND after removing the AHC. I thought it was suspension related but that doesn't seem to be the case.

There's a bolt sitting under the door panel, near the top. I can't remember exactly, but it seems be part of an assembly that keeps the window in line during operation (??). Tightening it Fixed the squeak in my truck. You'll need to remove the door panel.

Dang, just thinking about that squeak is like nails on a chalkboard while listening to Maroon 5. Good luck.

I had somthing silimar, which I though it was near the front pass air bag, it turned out it was the front door panel was loose.

The grab handle bolt on the inside squeaks like crazy on mine. I have yet to pull the door panel to look at it.

I too have a squeaky rear window, drives me nuts. Haven't been able to take my door apart to fix it.

Are there instructions anywhere on taking the door apart and putting it back together?

Excellent instructions search for door speaker install and you will find it.

Trying to keep all the various squeak threads I'm using to fix these issues together so the next person doesn't have to hunt down 7 year old threads like me.

Fixed one squeak with this old thread

could be upper shock mount. Often the bushings get old and allow a little movement in the mount.

Is that possible with new shocks?

I found the trunk door lock was the bad noisy bird
You can hear it by pushing in right rear lamp
Like there is something loose
I will try to fix it due it cost 70$

Finally gave up and asked the ABQ Lexus dealership for help and they found the squeak was the font bumper rubbing the passenger fender. Ugh. Only charged me a half hour to find and fix it. Squeak free now!!! Yay!
