any 200k daily drivers?

I recently found a locked 98 with 201k, super clean, well kept for 7.5k. I drive approx. 20k miles a year, should I consider?
 
If the timing belt, water pump, and such were done recently then that seems like a fair deal. Should have been done at 90k and again at 180k. If not budget $2000 for the service. Mine's got 230k and I plan to drive it another 2 years.
 
I have 182K on my 2000, serviced as recommended and is running great.
 
248K on my wifes, she drive it everyday. Just got back from a round trip to LA over Easter weekend, no issues other than 13mpg!

Only issues I've had since buying with 192K was the ABS pump going out. Replaced with a used unit from cruiserparts.
 
Same here @~200k. Wouldn't hesitate to go across the country in it.
 
Our 99 just turned 205k on a trip from San Diego to Salt Lake City. Runs like new. $7500 is a steal. I have seen 4 runners for several thousand more and they are half of the truck the LC is. Our timing belt and water pump ran around $700 at the dealer. We had the Brake Assembly done, $2000, that was the only real repair issue. Although, our fron muffler just burst a hole on the way back from Salt Lake. Minor issues for a 12 year old vehilce that is essentlially repair free. Now if you want to talk about our two Land Rovers...........
 
Mine's got 220K on it. It's not exactly a daily driver but the previous owner had the dealer do a Leakdown and Compression test on it while it was in for the timing belt/waterpump service @ 203k miles. The lowest cylinder was 5 psi under the recommended spec. Leakdown was 3.8%, I bought it without hesitation after seeing those numbers from the toyota dealer and the condition the rig was in.

I've since lifted it, replaced CVs, and Replaced Upper ball joints. He had the dealer do LCAs and a steering rack at the time of the waterpump/timing belt.

I would echo the others on the timing belt/waterpump, and I'd look at the steering rack, and upper and lower ball joints.

I've been extremely impressed by this 100 series, I'd drive it to New York tomorrow without hesitation.
 
I have 201k on mine and drive it a couple of times a week but take it a couple of thousand miles each summer for Boy Scouts camp outs. Routine oil changes, all services per schedule and preventative maintenance keep it running fine. Only modification has been the K&N cold air induction filter (replaces big filter box) which improved pick up and mileage.
 
My 02 Suburban has 230K on it and runs like a top. If a GM SUV can muster that kind of mileage on the original engine and trans, then I fully expect my Hundy to surpass 400K. I'm only at 138K now, I've got a long way to go!

Watch, now that I've said something my suburban will take a sh*t on the way to work tomorrow....:rolleyes:
 
just turned 260k this past weekend on my '99 and drive it daily....try to keep on top of the scheduled maintenance and you should be good to go :clap:
 
Mr. Bubbles is currently my soon-to-graduate high school daughter's daily driver with over 205k on his odo.

An when she leaves for TCU in August, he will once again be mine!
 
262 on our 98. Purchased it 6 months ago.. lots of highway miles from previous owner. So far we've done the following: 285 BFG ATs, Steering Rack, both front wheel bearings, both front CV axles and oil change. Next we'll be doing Trans flush, diff fluids, etc. The previous owner had $ and kept up to date on services but she still has plenty of miles on her so we need to get it on our maint. schedule.
