Let the most flames win

I got this idea today after taking my 2 year old and newborn to the grocery store today.

The idea is to post your mod ideas on little touches you have done or people can do to the 100. Anything from adding an extra light somewhere, filling a blank switch in the dash, buying something as trivial as a binder for your receipts that color matchs to your interior. The more anal the better.
Try to be 100 specific.

My idea...(not done)
Starbucks sliders
Drill 2.5" holes in step siders that you could put your starbucks coffee cups into without having to put it all the way on the ground when loading the groceries and little guys. I can easily reach the roof on the :princess: pathfinder so not a problem but to short to do so on the LC and too old and lazy to want to bend down that far.
Got the idea because a friend in college had his ski racks on the steps on his lifted suburban.

I've done a few dumb, excessive, personalized and unique mods over the years....i'm about to do it all over too.

i guess this one might qualify as excessive or personal - i installed a Fumoto valve in place of the engine oil drain plug. for something like $18, i dont have to turn that bolt every 10k miles, i just flick over the locking ball valve and a pencil sized oil stream pisses into the drain pan.

although the valve sits out more than the original bolt, the cross member (?) protects it nicely. when i install these, i plan what direction i want the valve lever to face (some upward vector), and turn slowly until tight in that direction. have not had any leakage in four yotas and a subaru, very faithful device. pros are eliminate danger of stripping out oil pan drain hole, reduce time and effort changing engine oil, make a simple job of collecting used oil sample for analysis.

I hardwired my Escort radar and then used the locker blank to insert the circuit board of the mute controller.

OK, not for the LC, for the Taco...but even the dealer didn't have the correct shaped key blank! Ace had the same thing only cheaper... still not the right shape so I traced my stock non-working key head onto the ace copy and proceeded to drill and cut with a jewelrs saw before filing to perfection... WHALA a proper shaped toy key! Yep, I'm one of the sick ones...

Go to my profile and take a look at my 80 LMAO

You know I lived in Colorado Springs and a 60 then. When I moved to Miami had to part with my 60 got the 80, loved the looks of it but didn't have enough power for highway driving so when the engine wore out (couple months back) I decided to get a MAF rebuilt 1FZ-FE turbonetics turbo, unichip, etc and one day my friend told me to try putting some 22" wheels. I did! went to that shop got the rims, did the leather interior and a few other things and that's what came out. I just bought a 100 but there will be no bling on that I'll keep that one as stock as possible. Well I already ordered the clear headlights, side markers, polished aluminum grille (ALL JDM from Japan) wife won't let me pimp it out like the 80 :grinpimp:

The 40 oz Classic size Kleen Kanteen fits into the cup holder perfectly.

that isnt excessive, thanks for posting! Now I know that the 40oz Kleen Kanteen is what I need to buy:D

I don't have pics, but I have a custom hole in my headlight to cool my bulbs thereby extending their service life well beyond normal. All it took was one trip through Ohio construction for this custom mod.

if you drilled a hole, doesnt that make the headlight prone to moisture collection?
