Replace the drivers side rear door lock actuator.

I forgot to connect the rod to the lock. Door is locked shut. :crybaby::bang::doh:

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Any ideas on how to get it open again??

Will a slim jim work? Call AAA?

Slim jim will not work!

Outlook not good....

Did you disconnect the manual door lock cable?

I dont think so...just the rod that is locked into the assembly

I can hear the lock clicking when i hit the button...but pulling the handle i get nothing

Why cant you unlock it manualy from inside?

pull the switch panel off, get a little kid to stick his hand in there and work his way to the latch and open it.

that rod is not connected.

Tha rod you are pointing at is used when unlocked with the key I believe

You should be able to manually unlock it inside (see lower cable in picture)

Clarification - you cannot unlock the door? or You cannot open the door with the handle?

I cant open it with the handles (interior and exterior)

Even with the rod disconnected it "should" be able to be opened from the inside unless the lock is not unlocking. IF the door is locked you "should" be able to unlock it from the inside manually (uses the cable).

Chances are you have tried all this...just making sure you didnt miss something.

I won! I was able to heat up a pick and bend it 20 different ways to get in and flick the child lock..had to get the door seal pulled out..but after about 30 minutes...POP!
