Well, let's look at the facts.
1. You're getting code 12 with fluctuating RPM.
2. You have a broken connector at the distributor.
3. When you wiggle the connector the RPM fluctuates.
What does that tell you?
What's broken?
If the harness side of the connector is damaged, that can be replaced 90980−11150. Individual pins with a pigtail 82998-12590.
There's no replacement for the distributor side, but a used distributor shouldn't be too hard to find.
IMO, it would make more sense to unplug Christo's harness and plug the bulbs back into the OEM harness and see if you have lights.
That eliminates 50% of the potential problems.
If you have lights, then you know that the issue is with the Slee...
Here's a thousand choices for you.

Looking at Christo's website, what he's doing is using the OEM headlight harness as a logic trigger for the 2 relays that draw power directly from the battery positive.
So a failure on all 4 bulbs using his harness could be on the passenger side...
Again, I don't have Christo's headlight harness. If it came with a schematic, then reference that.
Again, this is the OEM configuration.
What does it say next to the fuses?
Now follow the schematic:
Below is the OEM configuration. I don't use Christo's headlight harness. Never found the need with the 9011s.
Single relay supplies +12 to all 4 bulbs.
Fuses are for left side/right side, not high beam/low beam.
Separate ground paths for high...
AFAIK throttle cable has no bearing in idle speed. Idle is controlled by the ECU and the IAC valve
Set the throttle cable so it has no slack, but isn't under tension
Start with bare basics.
Is distributor installed, timed to the correct stroke? Not 180⁰ wrong?
Did you align the match marks on the distributor gear and body per the FSM when you installed the distributor? Get this right and timing should be...
Likely handbrake adjusted slightly tighter on that wheel than the other side.
With the diffs open and no load on the tires, all the torque will transfer to the "free" side.
The proper technique is tighten it down until it snaps, then back it off half a turn.
Your almost there, just gotta back it off that half turn and your good to go
Which is why I asked you to download the FSM. Every single system is explained in detail with troubleshooting steps along with maintenance for every system.
Have to determine what the issue is first. Is the cable sticky or is there a piece of...
Almost everything you wrote is incorrect. The CDL is in the transfer case and has nothing to do with how the transmission works.
Throttle cable binding or something mechanical not allowing the throttle plate to return to idle.
Useless. Without...
