just another SUV-RN 400

Hei,

i am reading here quite a while, and i like it. I am German, but work/live in Oslo-Norway. So be aware of my worst english.
I got a lot of ideas here on mud, but ewen worster, allways more new questions.
My biggest problem is getting stuck in OPPORTUNITIES:), hope you guys know what talking about. To give you a idea i introduce my project, and my dayilydriver.:)

I got:
87 4Runner body(incl. hood and doors) from Cali
87 4Runner frame from Switzerland
and a AllPro Kit, 37" Version
84 Landcruiser 60 axles

Plan was to get a nice modern DIESEL, nice wheels-probably too big,put it together, have a nice high milage car and be happy:clap:

Some pics.
I got the body from Marc(___omt - offroad - solutions___).
Got 60 axles from a guy, which tear the car down for taxreasons.
After loading the frame in Zweibrücken, and a nice "EVENT" back on a ferry to Sweden.

IFS

You can see that the hole IFS stuff add near 36 Kilogramm to the frame. Also the amount of cutting and grinding disks.
Cutting off: 1:45min
Grinding/Cleaning: 1:20

still no hardcore, but not past it elsewhere purely

Got this box,

2.Day

Awesome looking build!!! Keep up the good work.

Thanks a´lot. But is it "Hardcore", until now just "OLDSCHOOL".:)
My plan for the Sunday was putting the body on the frame, simple thing with a lift. Body was allready located on a Trailer.
Move the Roller out, trailer in, lift the body off the trailer, trailer out, roller in, body down. Done.
But for some reason(me:wrench:)the lift stoped working.
I called me girlfriend, the workshop is needed on monday. We got it, like Egyptians:)

Lexus

I tryed to reassemble everything well, the goal is to get a price:) being a recycler:)
I just have some ideas of using the things which i got with the Lexus, and which i allways missed in my daylydriver.
Clima, Soundsystem. I also like the dash, the seats and hole skintrim. But thats just guessing:popcorn:

Anyway, started tear the Lex down.

Bell from the 1UZ met the bell from a 2LT

??
We have here i Europe some Toyotas, Landcruiser for example with a 2LT or 2LT(2) and a R151F with Splitcase.
Same like last 60/61 Series.:)
The hole driveline looks verry compact, or just ......short.:)

This is a cool build. Keep up the good work.

driveline moke up

I did not want a H150 or H151, for some reason. At first, they are expensive here, big( more bodywork), heavy, hard to get and with the additionel option to buy original Flywheel, Clutch,Splitbellhousing from Toyota even more expensive.
Next strongest shoud be R Series. You get them here only in R150 with chaindriven trans. Dont like that. But we got quit a lot Landcruiser KJ,LJ,RJ 70 here. The have a R151 with Splitcase.
I got one, and one more, but thats another story.
A 10 mm steelplate deliverd the material for a simpel adapter, just to have a moke up.
