I can't believe it's come to this... Never thought I'd sell this one, but I'm overrun with Toyota's, and this one makes no sense for me anymore.

This was not an easy decision… up for sale is my 1989 Toyota 4Runner. I have owned it for about 6 years, and have modified it extensively in that time.

Headlights are Hella lenses with H4 bulbs and 4crawler.com upgraded wiring harness (very bright).

SR5 dash with full gauge set.

Japanese domestic market clinometer and altimeter.

Factory cruise control installed in non-factory location due to electric rear locker controls.

Electric locking rear differential installed with custom in dash indicator light.

Rear deck light modified to work at all times, not just when the headlights are on.

Door buzzer modified to tell you when you leave the lights on, not when the key is in.

1995 4Runner SR5 bucket seats with 7 way adjustable drivers seat.

Differential gears have been changed to 4.56’s front and rear.

Rear window controls modified so the front switch works when the key is on or off.

A 3rd rear window switch has been installed in the rear cargo area so you can get in and out if you’re camping in the back.

“Push to remove” key button on steering column has been disabled.

Mechanically the truck is in good shape, it has a 22RE 4 cylinder engine. I replaced the head gasket, timing chain, and the engine bearings about 3 years ago. There is a slight knock from the engine on start up, but goes away once the oil pressure comes up. I installed a Marlin Crawler clutch about 4 years ago. 2 years ago I installed a new catalytic convertor and O2 sensor as well as had the fuel injectors cleaned. There are a few small oil leaks, but nothing that is going to leave a puddle. I just installed a new heater core, if you've ever done that you know what a big deal it is! It has air conditioning, but it is discharged and does not work, I've had the top off every summer so it wasn't a priority. Top does not leak. The drivers side carpet is pretty dirty because the windshield was leaking, but that has been fixed.

It has been my off-road truck, the paint is scratched, and there are some small dents and chips. This truck came out of Utah, so there is some rust, but the frame is fine, most of the rust is in the fenders. Both rear fenders have been bondo'd. The front fenders and hood are aftermarket due to 2 accidents it was in before I got it. The front radiator support is still original, and does not look to be bent, so I don't think the frame was effected, and the tires have never worn funny for me. It's been repainted at least once. Has a Sony stereo with I-pod plug-in.

Transmission and transfer case shift smooth and don't make noise, the 4wd works perfectly, and with the rear locker makes the truck nearly unstoppable.

Tires are 2 different brands of 31X10.5R15's with good tread.

I would not hesitate to drive this across the country in it's current condition.

Odometer says 325,XXX miles, which I believe is accurate, however nothing in the drive train is at that mileage, it's all been rebuilt or swapped out at some point.

I have a clear CA title in my name. Truck is located in Yreka CA. $3250 or best offer.
