Hey I'm putting this out there because I need some money. Its an 86 4Runner, 4cyl 5 speed SR5, runs and drives really well. The body and frame are in good shape. The frame seems to be very good, theres a little surface rust here and there, but it was POR15ed and looks solid. The body overall is in good shape, there are some spots that are a bit rough but again I plan to fix it. Its been a project that I've been picking away at in my free time. I have a bunch of stuff I have to buy for this years hill climb season, so this has to go.

Mods are:
Trail Gear SAS kit
TG high steer
TG rear bumper
4in TG front springs
Pro Comp 4in lift rear springs
Custom front bumper I built with TG winch mount
37in Maxxis Creepy Crawlers
4.56 gears
It has a Smittybilt winch, but I'm keeping it

I could also potentially part out some of the more non essential parts. (cap, tail gate, doors, rear bumper) You could also buy it without the front axle. There are many options. Let me know if you're at all interested. Not really sure what its worth, it was traded to me for some work I did, more of a cruiser guy than a 4Runner guy. Lets say $4200 obo all together or $2500 without the 4.56s, front axle, steering, front shocks and TG front springs (it'll come with stock rears for up front)

Thanks

No rust on the floor, it looks like theres a little bondo around the rear wheel arches, the front fenders have some surface rust around the wheel lip, only once spot is through the fender. New fenders can be had for cheap (I think I found them for around $50 a pop on Rock Auto) It runs good, it started up on even the coldest VT winter days. I think it might be about ready for a timing chain. With the KM2s that were on it before it drove really well no pulls or bump steer with the Creepy Crawlers it still drives pretty well, a little bump steer, but they're a bias ply tire, so its not going to be great on road. This is probably one of the cleanest 4Runners I've seen in VT, and it spent its whole life here, still has the emblem from Nordic Toyota where it was purchased.

Which reminded me it also comes with some sort of rear seat delete panel to make it into a truck bed or something, not 100% sure what it is, but its a piece of floor pan that too is rust free, I can grab a picture of it (not currently installed)

Any offers? Hill climb season approaches and I still need a shell to cage and put all my WRX stuff into....

$4k OBO, seriously give me an offer and drive it home! I need money!

I would like to see some pics of the floor pans from the under side. Also of the inteiror and engine bay. Do they salt the road heavy up in VT? I'm worried that there is going to some nasty rust. Can you send me some more pics. You can email me at nezsm76@yahoo.com

Definitely, I'll shoot you some tomorrow morning. They salt the roads a ton (which is why my cruiser is off the road) and I have no idea why this 4Runner isn't rotted out, the previous owner POR15ed the frame, so that probably helped.

Here are a bunch of pictures I just took.

Bump, more offers please!

The lack of interest is astonishing.

I would be interested if you would trade for a nice 83 Toyota Custom Cab SR5 with a nice aluminum box and woor 2x4s so its like a flat bed/ real bed, 5th wheel like spare tire mount and millitary hitch. 207thousand kilometers and for a Canada truck frames in really nice shape and floors are good and solid, doors too are good. fenders and hood are rust free too.

I can email you pics if interested, I'd put some cash on top if too. Montreal is close to VT.

Sorry I dont think I can take a trade. I already have my cruiser, WRX and the 4Runner, I'm trying to get back to 2 cars.

Thanks for the good words guys. There's a semi local guy that wants to get it next week. Hopefully it works out, funds are low and I need shocks for the cruiser! (among other expensive automotive related stuff)

Come on $3850 someone!!!!

Bumpity bump bump! I cant believe this hasnt sold yet. A turn key wheeler that could probably handle the toughest trails in VT

Hmm...bumpo
