73 FJ40

Body: It’s been repainted bluish purple or PLUM from the previous owner. It’s in very good shape for it’s age. It has some rust spots on the driver’s seat floor area, very repairable and nothing that’s stopped me from using it. The frame is solid..no rust and is a great platform.

Engine: Previous owner paid big money to a mechanic to swap in a 350 SBC that’s been stroked to a 383 using a 400 crank. It has 22-23K on the rebuild. Holly 4 barrel carb, Howe Aluminum radiator, and after market heater unit. Pump the pedal 3 times and start it…the motor is sweet and very, very reliable.

Tranny-Tcase: SM420 with the Granny 1st, then with a D300 with 4.1 Gearing in it. It is Twin Stick Setup.

Driveshafts: Brand new Tom Woods/ Sleeved with dom tubing and mini truck CVs at the case and long travel splines.

Axles: 4.10 diffs, Aussie Locker Front, w 30 Splines Longs, ARP Hy-Steer Studs. Also have an axle housing for the front that had the cut and turn done by Kurt at Cruiseroutfitters ready to go under the truck and is included. Front axle has the mini-truck disc brake conversion using Trail Gear’s vented rotors, new V6Calipers, Aisin’ hubs and new hardware everywhere. Rear axle is a D60 Center Section with Mini Truck outers.

Springs: Are MAF 4 inch SUA with 4+ anti inversion shackles in the rear with MAF nitrogen shocks.

RollCage: Metal Tech’s full cage bolted to the floor. Metal Tech Nose guard, stinger and tube fender kit.

Steering: Saginaw conversion by previous owner. High-Steer with billet arms.

Bumpers: 4+ winch bumper up front and 4+ rear double swing out bumper on the rear. Can mount up to 37” tire and has the basket for a cooler.

Winch: Warn 8274 Limited Edition, Metalic Gray Color

Tires-37” IROK's with 90 percent or better on Eagle/Alcoa Alum wheels

Top: Best Tops Tiger Top less than 6 months old but has a small 4 inch tare in it. Has solid hard doors included and a set of half doors. There is also a Bimini Top.

Misc Stuff Included
Front Axle Housing
Heater
Pedals
Headers

Bump, answered PM's... Guys I would like to sell this but honestly offering 5K isnt going to buy this rig.

Go buy a stock one for that, probably in less shape, and then Call and add up the upgrades..

New price 13K

hey how about some recent pics not those old ones on the link .What i mean is finished pics .as 14.500 for what i saw seems steep .jmo

Bump, working on new pics... May just have to settle for crappy garage shots, weather is terrible, and from the rain and flurry's and cold... not getting better.

PM's replied.

On trades, I dont need another Trail only vehicle, I have one... Just would be interested in DD/could be trail.

Just added a few pics.. Still not showing new wheels and Tires though.. But everyone knows what IROK's look like.

Do you still have the old tires and wheels and seats?

Considering trades, but no Projects... My life is to busy to work on projects, I dont mind to tinker, but no basket builds anymore for me.

Will consider a DD vehicle, Car or Truck, mainly interested in sports cars or muscle cars. Chevelle, Camaro's, or Corvette's.
