Thanks to Bret and Jen and Kelly for cooking!
Thanks to Bret for donating his time, tools for helping us out!

Hey Kelly, when you stated you were getting a Honda Trail 90...I did not think it would look like a moped?! I was thinking of a full sized trail bike.
Still looks nice...did you get a chance to go on the trails this weekend?

Hey Jen...how's your rear diff? It work okay? And that noise...did it go away finally?
Later ya'll

The Zoo is sick. She will be at the dealership for the next couple of days. The screeching is due to either a broken wheel bearing, broken diff, or a problem with the e-brake. We'll see what they say. Hopefully its the e-brake or the wheel bearing. I called Lockrite today regarding the space in locker...looks like I'm going to have to pull it. They want me to take some measurements.

Thanks to all who showed and for Bret letting us borrow the shop (and working!)

Moped ?!?

:flipoff2:

Seriously, this little bike is quite cool. It has a dual transmission (4 high gears, 4 low gears) with a low range setting that gives you incredible low end torque and power. I can understand why the Aussie's use these things in the outback for mail delivery. Not even close to a moped in performance yet small enough to haul on a hitch receiver rack.

Sounds more like a shuttle with knobbies taking steroids.

What kind of gas mileage does it get?

I was a bit skeptical about these until Kelly pointed out the Aussie's have an annual race from Sydney to Ayers Rock (2000 miles) on these little guys through the outback. It's sitting in my garage right now while we're fixing some stuff on it. I've been riding it around my neighborhood and it's really a blast to ride. Definitely not a traditional dirt bike but super simple, easy to fix and easy to handle due to it's size. Parts are plentiful and cheap also.

The info she's forwarded to me claims 75-100 mpg.

You should come by and see this thing. I've got my eye on one in Lubbock but I'm doing a bit more research before I take the plunge.
