Sounds more like a shuttle with knobbies taking steroids.

What kind of gas mileage does it get?

110 mpg :p

What is a shuttle with knobbies? This one has the Australian King Post tyres;p;p

I was a bit skeptical about these until Kelly pointed out the Aussie's have an annual race from Sydney to Ayers Rock (2000 miles) on these little guys through the outback. It's sitting in my garage right now while we're fixing some stuff on it. I've been riding it around my neighborhood and it's really a blast to ride. Definitely not a traditional dirt bike but super simple, easy to fix and easy to handle due to it's size. Parts are plentiful and cheap also.

The info she's forwarded to me claims 75-100 mpg.

You should come by and see this thing. I've got my eye on one in Lubbock but I'm doing a bit more research before I take the plunge.

I might come by to check it out, but I'll have to take it for a spin if I do.

Honda Dual Sport Motorcyle

The CT is Honda's model designation for the line of original dual sport motorcycles (used both on pavement and off-road), referred to as Honda Trail Bikes. The full size CT gave fishermen, hunters, campers and explorers an affordable and reliable means of backwoods/off-road transportation that provided fun and excitement as a bonus.

I am starting to think that maybe that trail bike is a bit too manly for you Kelly. You may have to ride on the back while one of us men drive it for you. :D

Dude, they're a blast. I never thought a small engine bike could be so much fun. I was trying out the low gear transfer case setting and this little bike will climb a tree in low gear. I can see why the Aussies use these things in the outback.

The guy I bought the bike from showed me some of the original magazine adds from the '70's and they were targeted to hunters and fisherman. They have rifle bags available that attach a bit like a high-lift jack. People would ride these little bikes from their front door to that secret fishing or hunting spot and haul the catch home. Pretty cool.
