You CAN tow your FJ

I wanted to tow my FJ behind the Motorhome. Everyone said NO !!! You CAN...all you have to do is get a "drive line disconnet" from REMCO and you can tow the FJ no problem. Put the Auto Matic in Netural and the transfer case in Netural. Have towed mine a lot this summer.

I think Remco recommends putting the trans in park and the case in 2H. What are you using for a brake system?

Have you contacted REMCO on the transmission placement. They told me put the trans in either Netural or Park and the Transfer case in Netural. Please let me know.

Your right...called REMCO this AM. Transmission in PARK...Transfer Case in 2H.

By mention ing the word "PARK" it indicates an automatic transmission. The issue I believe is with Manual transmissions. Does REMCO mention MT's?

Putting the transfer case in neutral places the axles in 4wd but disconnected from the transmission (and transfer case gearing). Meaning the front and rear wheels are locked together. This is not a good idea on pavement.
