Great looking 40, and a great looking dog mate!

Rims - Black for sure.

Is it just me, or does the rear tire appear to be larger in diameter then the one on the front?

Travis.

yes you are correct---the back tires are 7:00 x 15" co-op grip spurs---that are going on my 1985 4runner
and the front tires are the new buckshots mudders--i bought last weekend!!!!! ( about a 1 inch smaller that the 7:00's--- but the buckshots are radials....wanted a little smoother ride!!!! ) he takes a few miles for those bias belted 7:00's to warm up on a cool morning:crybaby:)

Where did you find Co-op Grip SPurs?
.

a friend of mine, bought a parts rig and these were on it. and i got them from him. Great tires....BUT not radials.....and these Grip SRURS were brand new and i have never had a flat on them ever---will be great on my "hunting rig / farm truck my 1985 4runner".

on a grey wheel--can't decide on grey or black wheels---- i think my dog was getting bored or sleepy  GREY or BLACK????

This photo reminds me of a $OR catalog with a nice looking rig and a pitbull.

I had 255/85-16 Cooper ST's mounted on the 80 today. Definitely taller than the worn out 285/75-16 BFG AT's. The steering input is much lighter as well. Road noise was slightly higher pitched but not not any louder than the BFG's. The sidewalls definitely feel stiffer. We will see how they handle the fire roads as soon as hunting season starts...

Nice rig, the black looks good!

Nees to be darker grey, or black.
