Great.

Ive always gone in on the Troy side. When Josh was around we always parked trailers at the farm before you hit the woods right near wambus.

Perhaps management can get with NEA and find out if permission is needed to use that lot.

Me and Éric will send you our registration soon.

You're lucky! Once again, you will see your friends from Québec.

Bonjour David!

Damn lucky!

What time on Thursday will you arrive? I can get a site reserved and set up, Where do you want to camp? The same north side as last year or on the south side in the woods? Do you need some camp space for the kids?

Let me know!

Larry

What kind of count do we have so far?

Registrations have been slow to come in. We're at about 15 right now.

Get them in or Lane will be winning all the raffle prizes!!!

Works for me!

Fifteen isn't good. :crybaby:

I have to be honest, I haven't signed up myself because I heard Lane would be winning everything. :grinpimp:

Seems like my French Canadien relatives here in NH on my wife's side have it all wrong.

They always called the pork pie Creton or something that sounded like Gorton with the accent on the second syllable. Now my wife says Goton is pork, but you would know better.

The creton (I pronounce it more like Goh-ton as well) is almost like a pate. You put it on toast and such.

My Canadian immigrant grandparents made it frequently. I remember stopping at a truck stop in Sherbrook once and there was a slab of it on my plate... I didn't realize it was a widespread thing until then, thought it was just something my grandparent's liked.

Later, I knew a Canadian girl in college who used to bring me some that her mother made. Different recipes but the same basic food.

I never thought talking about culinary product on this board!

OK. Among the many products of Quebec folk there, creton and tourtière.

Creton are a mixture of ground pork, generaly with bread crumbs and a few other ingredients. It is a spread. You should spread the creton over crackers or bread.

The tourtière is literally a meat pie with a filling made of ground or piece of pork (and sometimes potatoes depending the region). You eat the tourtière as a meal.

That's two years old! The trails are totally different now!

I know, regardless it was cool to see how many of the rigs have changed as well.

I'm getting pretty excited to see so many of the Fall Gathering details coming together. Should be a great time.

Bob
