The World-Famous 3X's Ranch and Retirement Home weren't never meant to be no sorta place to work on Folks' Junk.

Nosir ... it was supposed to just be a place to drink beer and STORE Folks' Junk.

But I reckon all thangs must change.

And the change came on Christmas when Momma ... with alotta help from the damn neighbors ... rolled this here puppy into the ol' shop.

And it began ...

For those that ain't heard ... Dusty (The O'ficial Poster Child of The White Trash) is doin' some modifyin' to The Grape Ape. Full-width one-ton and a JK tube-job. But his ol' cruiser front axle's got all that fancy cro-molly s*** in 'er.

So ... we was all sittin' 'round the shop drinkin' one evenin' ... and somehow or 'nother ... Fro ended up "borrowin" the axle shafts. Since The Beater was already at headquarters ... Dusty and his trusty sidekick Tommy (who now owns a bad-ass one-ton CJ-7 and is fixin' to join The Movement hisself) trailered up The Grape Ape from the suburbs of Elwood.

[Editor's Note: This episode all occurred 'fore The Jamboree]

Here's Tommy Strippin' down The Grape Ape. :D

And behind door #3 ... in the next bay over ... Dusty hard at work strippin' down The Beater.

Please take careful note of the Coors can on the hood. If'n Dusty ever comes over to YOUR shop ... make damn-sure the Boy brings his own beer. He can put a hurtin' on a man's thirty-pack like it ain't nobody's bid'ness.

So ... you ask ... where the hell was Fro durin' all this mess??

Naturally ... he had to make a run into town. :flipoff2:

So how'd it work at The Jamboree?

Well ... he didn't break nothin' in the front-end ... just his transfer case. :grinpimp:

Carry on.

To Dusty, Thanks for the loan of the axles :cool:To Tommy. Thanks for the help  To Kowboy, Thanks for the loan of the shop and the damn fine compressor  To Daryl, Thanks for the T-case  As for me, I knew damn well I would find my next weak point ::o Thanks guys for all the help  The Beater is back at Gregs shop and we will be at Katemcy

Oh lord, I had no idea Dusty was a member. last I saw him I heard the story when he drove over some guys tent. I think it was Butch who mentioned an invisable circle around their campsite that once you cross it you need to take your shirt off.

Now that i look at the PICs I am pretty sure I saw him on an episode of COPs.

Daryl don't overload the trailer, or at least leave some room for my Top.

I don't know if I had asked you before but by any chance you don't have any ambulance doors, a hood or a front bib.

Remeber I mentioned that I had bought another 40. Well I need the Hood and Front bib to convert that last 40 into a Rock buggie and continue with the other one to fix it nice and make it a daily driver.

I don't think I have any ambi doors but could probably find you a hood and bib thats good enough for a trail rig - won't win any show and shines though. Let me know if you are still looking just before and I'll bring em down. You take a look and offer me what ever you think is fair. Sound OK?

What does Dusty have planed for the housing and/or springs.

If it is turned and he wants to sell it let me know.

Daryl I"ll keep you post it.

I know he was tryin' to sell the s*** ... call Butch.

:flamingo:

I hope he kept the rotor and assorted other parts he borrowed from me. He about out cleaned me out of parts fixin it at Clayton.
