I purchased this inverter at Costco the other night as it was a deal too good to pass up. I was planning to mount this in my 80 but later after the impulse purchase realized that the inverter is overkill for my purposes and the place I was planning to mount it would need to be modified. The inverter is brand new in the box with the power cables and manual. It is rated at 1500 watt continuous power and 3000 watt surge for start up of power tools etc. and is a modified sine wave inverter. I purchased the inverter for $85.00 and will sell it for $100.00 shipped. This is an excellent deal for someone looking for a high power inverter who is unable to get to Costco (membership is $45.00). Also, at this price I am sure that these units will be out of stock by Black Friday anyway. I would also consider a trade for a 600 to 900 watt inverter with a housing that is a fair bit smaller. This unit measures 6 x 14 x 3 inches. Search the internet and you will see that comparable inverters sell for $150+.
