What exactly are you having trouble with? Glass into the weatherstrip? Weatherstrip/glass asembly into the door or the steel run against the weatherstrip?

Or do I try to slide it from the front of the rig into location?

What should I be using to lube the rubber up if anything?

I believe that's what I did. A little KY might come in handy!

I've never had to change those yet in either of my pigs, but for other rubber the string trick usually works. Put the glass inside the rubber, then take some sturdy string and give it a single wrap around the rubber. While trying to push in the window, have someone else slowly pull the string out. This lifts the lip of the rubber up enough for the entire assembly to slip into place.

But now that I've had some coffee and been able to look at the FSM, it does indeed look like I stuff the glass in the rubber, remove the division bar, and then slide the window in from the front.

I don't want to say, "I told you so!" but....

Is the KY for the window or because the price on the gasket?:flipoff2::lol:

Both!

Though I'm sure the same rubber from Toyota today if it were available would not be any less.

But I do have to say those rear doors look down right sexy with 20% tinting in them. Now if I can just find a reasonable headliner shop so I can get the tinted cargo windows in:cool:

How dark is the 20%? Mine is as dark as they get.

OK, just curious! Mine are such that you can't really see anything inside when you look into the truck. It's OK looking out, just a little difficult at night. Good for security.
