I have brand new 850 & 863 springs and would like to trade for 851 & 860.

I have 860/851, but they're ON my truck. I'd be interested in a swap, but
how?

Is Don on the phone? Where are those pictures I was supposed to see?

How much time have they spent under your truck? Mine are brand new. I would obviously like springs that are new or as near to new as possible.

I'd really rather trade for the full set-up on the springs. I'm not in a huge hurry for this to happen. Just had surgery to repair ruptured biceps tendon and won't be able to do the install for several months anyway.
I'd planned on putting some weight on the truck with a winch and rear bumper. That's gonna have to wait because of my deductible for the surgery. With no weight on the truck I'm thinking the heavies would be too much.

They are from a wrecked 80. I've had them for a week.
I have no idea how old they are, but I can say that the shocks look nearly new, and everything came out really easy when I stripped the donor truck. Even the shock bolts came out with a socket wrench. I'd wager they were only under that truck for a few months, but as I say, I don't know.
They ride great... no sag, no squeaks....

I have some reservations about trading brand new springs for used ones out of a wrecked truck. No offense intended. But, I'm not sure that's a wise move on my part.
As I stated earlier, I'm not in a hurry for this to happen. If I don't get any other offers, I'll let you know.
Thanks,
Keith

If they're really new (never installed), why not take them to an OME dealer and trade + cash for what you want?

I thought about doing that. But, I'm not the original purchaser and I don't have the receipt.
I guess I could give it a shot. All they can say is no.

At worst they'll say no. At medium worst they'll charge you a restocking fee, but that's still going to be less than shipping.
