IIRC, it's just a dashpot with a little filter on the end.
I think it's just to cushion the snap back of the butterfly, IDK.
I've seen them, but they're on the older model EFI's. 85-86 kinda stuff. The new stuff doesn't have them, again, IIRC.

This is an 84 Carb.
Whats IIRC mean?
It got one vac and it used to be hooked to the VSV but after routing the hoses by FSM spec its the only one left, and it has no other port to hook to.
What will it do if i cap it off?

YEAH! Thats him! Now, wheres that pesky line go?
Dashpot is as described by Hilux...... no vacuum line to it, just cushions butterfly return.
