Wanted WTB Birfield 9/'75 - 12/'78

I am in need of 1 of the first generation (9/75- 12/78) fine spline birfs. I have the internal parts and inner axle shaft if that matters. I just need the outer shaft with the bell attached to it. This is to replace one of my birfs that is chewed up on the outer end. The metal between the snap ring groove and the end of the birf is missing on about one third of the circumference. It apparently worked ok like this for the PO, but I'm not sure what kind of forces are on that snap ring, so I'd like to just replace it if I can find one. Maybe I'm worried over nothing, if so please tell me....

See the for sale thread on Upstate. I've got a couple posted - but I think they're mini birfs. Would have to check. If they are, they work fine with some grinding to the axle (ask Alan H. - I explained to him when he needed to do it - fairly easy) and Aisin Hubs.
