Wanted WTB: any seat fabric from brown 60 series interior

I just need a small piece of the seat fabric to repair the side of the driver's seat. Probably any 60 series with the brown interior and striped upholstery should be fine (see picture below). It could be from any seat. Maybe you have a wrecked seat with a bit of material you can save. I'd say about 22" x 6" would be good. Also looking for a larger piece of the brown vinyl, but that's not as important - I can probably get some generic brown material. It's the striped cloth that's more important.

I have the same interior in one of my rigs. Rust ate it so I'm parting it out. All the seats are in pretty mint condition.


Oh, and your club is installed wrong. The long part of the handle goes between the "A" pillar and the windshield.

Shipping the whole seat might be kind of tough, but the fabric only would be easier. It's for my driver's seat, so either the whole seat fabric, seat bottom, or some spare bits from the back seat in case you want to sell your front seats as a pair to someone else.

Thanks for the tip on The Club. I sometimes install it the way you mentioned, but sometimes I get lazy and do it the wrong way...

Do you need the fabric as a sample or as a patch piece?

I need the fabric as a patch piece. I don't have a picture of the damaged area, but it's the left side of the driver's seat. The fabric is all ripped up and the brown vinyl below it is also ripped up (typical wear area on just about any older vehicle I would think).

The seat is otherwise fine. Just thought if someone had a scrap seat they could cut a decent section of fabric from to sell to me, that would be great. The brown vinyl isn't as important, as there's probably a generic equivalent I can buy. Shipping an entire seat would be overkill and quite expensive. Although the next best option is if someone has "skinned" the seat and removed just the upholstery that should be much easier for shipping. My guess is that either front seat would be the same.

A quick measurement showed that a 22" x 6" piece of the striped fabric is the minimum amount, but a few extra inches for a safety buffer would be great.

As for the brown vinyl that covers the sides on the seat bottom, about the same size piece would be good, but to avoid unsightly seams, it might be good to replace the entire piece. It might be just as easy to get some generic brown vinyl for that part though. I'm not sure that the brown vinyl from the back seat would be tall enough (just did a quick measurement, it would be close).

How about I just pull the entire cover off the bottom of the rear seat and send it to you. You can slice and dice it any way you want too. I will have no used for a seat with half the cover gone.
