Want to get a better rear bumper for yourself? Now's the time:

I'm looking for a bolt-on aftermarket bumper for my 80. Hanna, Slee, Kaymar etc. Would rather not have to remove the crossmember. Would like a tire carrier. Not too worried about esthetics if the price is good.

I'll be at SnT so we could work out a pick up there or in the area.

Kaymar Rear

Does this look like something you may like? This pic is as I was taking it off...it is positioned slightly lower in the pic than it actually sits on teh car. It fits right behind the rear bumper. It bolts onto the 3 Undercarrriage bolts per side, same as those used on the Reese hitch. Bumper is Aluminum and tire carrier is Steel. Support brackets and hardware are steel. I pulled the supports and wire wheeled and repainted them. Stopper / Shock connection broke, but it rests on the bumper at full open. I think I have all the pieces and you could re-attach without too much trouble

Kaymar lists their current version at $460 for the carrier and $865 for the bumper W/O pivots plus about $75 for the relo bracket and Hella plate light, so pushing $1400 new. This is used but in great shape, so how about $800 plus the ride.

Shipping will likely be about $100, but I think it came UPS or FEDEX.
