I have an older set of doors 64? these have a slot to slide a glass window up/down they also have bug catcher vent windows metal is in good shape. Rockntag@msn.com
These doors if they have a slot with a slide instead of a roll up and down window would be pre 1962. They will work on a 1964 but not a 66. The bug catcher vent window doors match the windshield with the vent under it . When you install them on the later style top they stick out at the top. 1965 seems to be a change year. My 1965 FJ45LPB has the later vent windows but still has vent in the bottom of the windshield. I guessing the windshield changed when the vent windows changed so some 1965s will have the vent window but match the later tops. One of these days I need to checked it. But all doors I've seen 1962 and later hand roll up windows not sliding one. That I being said I might be interested in the early doors if they have the sliding windows.

I know my 62 FJ40 has the slot with slide windows. going to post pics soon.
Hey I still have the doors early style with roll up windows one glass needs to be repaced but metal is good I also have a set of Toyota factory canvas doors Canvas is in great shape very tight.Make an offer on both or 1 set..dave Rockntag@msn.com
Thanks for that info. I've never seen a 62 with the early doors. Whats the VIN on your 62 ? I would like to know so I can better tell when they started the roll up windows. The 65 thing is still a mystery how they made the change. My 65 FJ45 looks like it has the later size windshield but still has the vent in the bottom. But that may have been a 45 thing since the top attaches different then the 40. I know I have seen both style tops for 65. The later windshields angle in just a little while the earlier one are basicallystraight which is why the doors won't fit right on the different windshields and tops. Does anyone have the later vent windows that match the earlier windshield?
