Wrenching weekend in August

We had a blast and made it back in one piece less two of my swampers, boy am I f*ckin':crybaby::mad: Keep an eye out on eBay for 36x12.5x16 swamper TSL/SXs that are grooved.

I can do whatever/whenever just not the weekend of 8/17 as we are closing that Friday or 8/25 because we'll be moving.

After the body damage I got at BHCC I may need to make the run up north to have Craig work his magic on the tube bender for some protection for my rear quarters.

May I be the first to say...

Oh crap (or more appropriately "Oh snap!"), sorry to hear about the bias. You're going to have to start a new thread now, the whole story with pics, once you've had time to zen of course. Glad you two made it back okay otherwise.

Pretty much any weekend is good for me now. I have classes on Monday so my weekends are free.

Anyone wanna tackle a xfer case swap over that weekend? :D

Forgot the 10th-12th is Old Settlers for our neck of the woods. Really, Sat. morn parade/fly-over and car show is the only thing I'm interested in. It's fun, small town style if anyone is looking for entertainment.

Told ya so! :D Been there... done that. Wagons + BHCC = body damage

ehhh, it was mostly my fault. This tree was the first small dent, the front was supposed to come up on the drivers side but it slid left.

I broke my tail light on the waterfall coming out of the 3rd section of Jake. I didn't have a spotter backing up ~3' and I brushed some tree roots/dirt in the stream bed. No real drama. The 3rd and 4th sections on Jake are tight and more friendly to runners and minis but the guys that were running mini's were surprised at how well the 80 worked and missed more damage.

I plan to go back next year and finishing running the 4th section of Jake and a few of the other 4+/5 trails. The Black Hills was much more fun than Moab just because of the intense terrain.

Bob,
Bring your mini up there next year, it's a blast.

You need to buy my 80 so you can quit tearin' your's up :flipoff2:

But yours is so nice already and I can't remove my sliders w/o lot of work (or a plasma cutter)

I'm pretty certain you heard the boss' response to buying another 80 last Friday. :D

Oh by the way, when are you planning on doing the frontendectomy on the 40?

Did you sell the other gooseneck?
.... not exactly. Long story short, the previous owner has told me he will refund my money and pickup the trailer in the next two weeks. Something about the title not matching the trailer VIN .

I reckon we're fixin' to see if this fella is a man of his word or if the MN State Police get a call....

Simply amazing, man!

Is it stuck to the ground still now that the mud has dried?
Different trailer.... but yes it was struck purdy good and the boys were using it to shoot rabbits or whatver out into the field...... they seemed a little disappointed when I hooked onto it.

I'm out for the 25th, my friend that's in the Navy is coming back from Iraq that weekend.

Any other weekend looks good so far.
