The diesel makes up about 70% of 200s here. Would I buy one? No.
They cost more than the petrol but I don't want injector issues, oil burning, diesel rattling, smelly fuel pumps, black oil every service etc....
We didn't get the 5.7 here, we had the 2UZ-FE 4.7 then the 4.6.
I'd much rather my 2UZFE 4.7 over a diesel. Sure it costs a little more to run but it's smooth and probably the best engine ever made, as evidenced from it's time in Lexus LS series, 100 series, SC series and the huge mileage they can accumulate. Including the million mile Tundra.
