Getting organized for a LS Gen III swap into my 1994 80 series.
The new engine is an AL block mated to a 6L80E.
Slee's Newbie guide for the 80 series states:
" . . . . .1993-1994 . . . . Also gets viscous coupling HF2AV transfer case versus non-viscous HF2A transfer case for drum braked 80's . . . . ."
Mark's web site states their adapter for the 6L80E to a HF2A
6L80E to LandCruiser 4-speed auto HF2A transfer case
Before I pull the trigger and send a bunch of dough overseas.
For purposes of a T-case adapter, can anybody confirm that the HF2A would be the same adapter for a HF2AV ? Is the external casing, bolt patterns, etc etc the same for the two versions ?
