I have a working cb40m . They took the place of the cassette player in the dash and I don't think there are that many out there. Does anybody have a idea what it might be worth???

i have a CB40M also, just found it yesterday in a 79 4x4 Longbed. I wanted to wire it up and put it in my tacoma, instead of the Cobra that i have now. Is there anyway i can get a wiring diagram of what the different colors of the wires are for. I heard it replaced the tape player as an option. So maybe i need the Stereo wiring Diagram. Any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Red wire hook to switched 12 volt power,wire black one to chassis ground.At least that was the way mine was.You would be better off with the cobra radio though,better modulation and can be modified to do alot better.

there are two speaker wires in there too.
i cant recall what they are. I will have to locate the radio and figure it out.
