will fit on a mini(84) or not?

I have a 8lift on mine and the current shaft flops out everytimejack it up.....so I cannot imagine what would happen onthe trail.

I do have the Trail Gear front driveshaft kit but I also have the 62 shafts......so maybe I could save myself some money.

I think Dan(DAnimal)is providing some info and pictures.....not sure what yet.

Here is what I did for your just to get your driveshaft measurements. :D

Pretty sure the center index will be the same, so if you have a round flange and one of the hole patterns fit, then you are good to go.

I think the driveshaft bolts on the mini-trucks are smaller than the driveshaft bolts on the Cruiser.

This the 62 shaft longer by chance?

No matter what, you'll need to get it re-sized. I just had one done yesterday-a 60 series DC shaft made to fit a 43 inch flange to flange space. $98 with 0.120 wall tube (twice the stock thickness).

Maybe I missed that-are you trying to reuse a stock length shaft? I'd get one with the right bolt pattern, and take it to a drive line shop since it isn't that expensive.

No I was wonding mainly if the 62 shaft would bolt directly on to my mini flanges. I know the 62 shaft is longer than the mini which is what I needed. My lift in the mini is 8 inches. I think what I will do is go ahead and do is use this Trail Gear kit

:lol:Is that Docs new ride?

All this to fit the truck in USPS's fixed price shipping boxes :p You know I don't need the title if it comes across the border 20 lbs at a time.

And I did drive the 45, about 30 feet  I can tell you that it starts like a dream, and the 4-speed shift pattern is different that the 5-speed I'm used to.
