My driver wiper dosn't work. The shaft moves back and forth, but the wiper arm just sits. I imagine that the arm has been bored out over time. There sure are not splines in the hole of the arm. It is smooth. Anyone got ideas on how to get this thing back on track.

I had an issue with one of mine being a bit screwed up when going back together with things. Mine is the 1/4" shaft that comes through the "guides" and has the splined bushings pushed on the end. Long story short, I drilled and taped the bushing for a set screw. Ground a flat spot on the shaft for the set screw to seat and put it together. Haven't tested it in the rain yet but it works real well with the garden hose pointed at it.
