Hi Guys,

I want to repair my wiper relay circuit board after it got water damage. Does anyone now if there is a scheme or something? On the picture you can see there is a resistor aor diode missing. Any help is welcome.

Maybe someone have a good picture of a good one from the inside?

ooh, 24V, very expensive to replace. The 60 series wiper relays I have repaired are different.

I know, thats why i want to repair them. its pretty basic circruit board so must be easy. A scheme would help, or atleast a picture from the inside so i know what should be on the position of the broken component.

When installed, where is this thing in the truck?

Hey Sequenszer

My relay is on top of the stove drying out after filling with water. It is complete. no missing components.
I have to go out now to pick wife up from station. 4 hour round trip.

will take photos tomorrow morning before I reassemble and refit.

cheers

Dan

...similar problem, paid a gallon of blood for a used 85940-90K02, looks good on the outside...

...only to find it fails the continuity test in the manual. cracked it open and it looks fine/clean inside too...

...how do I test this baby?

You typically need it attached to a wiper motor to test correctly. I have bench test wiper motors for that purpose. Check the solder connections for the plug.
