This might be a long shot but while trying to clean and inspect my 77 wiper motor I took it apart to check the brushes and generally clean it out and when I watched the 40 Channel video I realized that I had lost the two ball bearings that used to be inside. Does anyone out there know the diameter of the balls?

Maybe @timmyisinthewell has that information on the phish.
Yeah, I wish I had something more that could help, but the microfiche only shows the general wiper assembly and no motor internal parts or details for the '77.

You might just use a micrometer to measure the remaining ball bearings. I did the same thing when rebuilding the breaker plate on my old distributor.

Micrometers are pretty cheap if you don't have one. And bearing aren't too hard to find online.

Yes but there's only two, one on each end and they're both gone
Thanks

So I'm thinking #4 Buckshot is like 25 cal about 1/4", you could try them and see if they fit. They are soft lead and should be easy to crush a little so you can measure to get an idea of what you need.

Temu $11 15 metric sizes
