i also stumbled across a place in Australia that sells a bushing replacement . They say they are compatible with all 60’s and 80’s also .

That doesn’t look like the one i got as a replacement. It is a two piece unit that snaps together. I will see if I have an old pic of it somewhere.

That’s not the one I need . There is a smaller one that appears to be the March to that one . I actually ran down to caveman exchange and grabbed a old bushing off a FJ60 and it was not the same either . I had read from a Australian website tjee as t sells a replacement bushing for all cruises 40’s -80’s . For some reason the one I got off the 60 was too big to fit into the hole on the linkage arm . So I just used the nylon washer that came with it and my old cracked one for now and made it work . In the meantime I order a whole new linkage out of UAE for $120 and it should be here on the 15th . Meanwhile it’s working again for now .
