Alaska and Minnesota 200 owners - does anyone know of a company still making winter fronts / summer grill bug screens for the 200? The winter front I bought from Cabelas (brand name FIA) has finally fallen apart. For those who don't know what a winter front is, it is a quilted, insulated fabric cover for the grill, attached with plastic snap grommets, that insulates the radiator and keeps wind and snow out. Game changer for warming up and heating your car when driving at -40 degrees.

BITD We just used a piece of card board. As for summer bugs get some wire mesh and form it around the grill.

Yeah that’s what I used to do but drive outside and people look at you funny. Plus with snow one day and rain the next I prefer a more resilient solution.

We mounted the cardboard on the inside, no funny looks :-). Holds up better. For something more resilient, use some heavy gauge visqueen.

I have a 2500 GMC diesel. Great for hauling my boat, and anything else I need to carry. It used to be my daily. I bought a CPO 2019 LX three years ago and never looked back. It’s the best truck/car I have ever owned. I put 70K on it so far, and it’s bank-vault tight at 100K. One of the best car decisions I ever made…

Sorry…wrong thread! Going to copy and paste it…to the correct thread…
