Windshield washer tank. I give up.

How to remove the stock windshield washer tank from my '76 55?
It's in great shape but I'm trying to get the battery tray out for cleaning and paint. I sure don't want to break it!

Does it just pull straight up and out or is mine jammed from leaves and debris accumulated through the years. I seem to remember there is a certain catch to removing it?

Mine is a 76 also. It just slides up. It kinda clicks in places so a bit of force to break it free.

Ok, I hope it works, I've tried to lift it out but it's not moving much... I'll give it a heave ho and up.........YAHTZEE!.... Done and intact. Thanks guys!
