After some maintenance today I replaced the washer diverter valve thinking that would remedy my front washer issue. However, that was not the case, over the years I guess I forgot it operated by pushing the button in on the end of the stalk.
My button does not depress, After prying the button off and jumping the two metal pieces within the front washers finally worked.
So I am wondering:
1)What is supposed to be under the plastic cap to create the connection. A spring?
2) Does anyone have a clue on the part number or if its even available absent purchasing the complete assembly?
I would prefer not to buy the whole assembly since installation requires removing the steering wheel and simply rather not deal with that hassle.
