Yup. Clay bar. BTW did my whole truck a couple weeks back, what a load of menial work (prob 8hrs over two days to wash, clay bar, compound, and wax). Hopefully no need for a LONG time but man... I'd have to add it to the "must do" list if you buy a new car/truck. Protect the paint from the get go, and it's never too late. If you work at it you can literally get every single one of those pin tip sized rust spots off the paint - and if you don't know what I mean just look at any of the horizontal surfaces, for example on the ledge below the windows and you'll find them.
Gents,
Tried everything, no luck. Dealer did steel wool and ammonia. No luck. Lexus changed windshield out, vehicle is still under warranty. Still getting a film with new windsheild. But, Situation is much better. Will drain and refill washer fluid and get new wiper blades. Does anyone have any recommendations? Attached photo is of old windsheild with just the washer fluid, rain made it almost impossible to drive.
Does anyone have an after market blade they recommend? Bosch? I have a Lx470,gx470 and an Es350 never needed to use nothing but Toyota blade refills.
