My window regulator on my 1980 pickup is getting more and more difficult to manipulate. I tried to backyard fix it but the housing is so worn there's no solid way to rebuild it. I've had trouble finding one for a 78-83 driver's door locally, but there are plenty of 84+ doors to pilfer. Does anyone know with certainty if a newer manual window regulator from a newer pickup will work in my '80?
