Hi everyone. I'm new to this website so any help i can get means a lot. I have a 75 series 4.5L land cruiser and i am wanting to put a winch on my bull bar but the problem i have is my bull bar is not compatible. Is there a way around this so i don't have to fork out heaps of money for a new bull bar or customizing a mounting plate to suit ????

Post pics of your current bull bar.

You will probably have to fabricate and weld on a winch mount to your current bar IF the current bar is strong enough.

Or buy a winch compatible bumper. My bet is this option.

For strength, your winch should be mounted to the frame, not the bumper. See if you have room behind your bull bar to mount the winch between the frame rails. That's what I did ( used a winch base plate for a jeep, with a few mods) which is nice and secure, tight into the truck and virtually out of sight behind the bullbar.
Oh, btw, mines a 60 series, ally Aussie bullbar and a 12k mile marker hydraulic winch. The fair lead is hidden behind the licence plate ;-).
