Very flat, on top of all the recent battles (BRC, etc) with ATVs, read pirate. Heck, I'd rather they just use the money elsewhere (ks rocks), or combine it with existing operations (tuttle). But that would be too logical for the gov't.

Disapointing to find out here. I wrote a letter to my counsel member days after hearing about the plan on the local radio.... Wait till he comes askin for support at election time, I'll have questions for him!

There were 7 fellas attended last evenins meetin out at Auburn Hills. 3 Wichita 4x4 Club, 2 CORA, an 2 fellas that have a rock racin rig. 5 of us spoke. Dist. 5 voted FOR support of the Off Road Park. The other meetin last night, Dist. 1 I believe, did not have enough members present to have a quarem. So we have another opertunity on Jan. 9th to address them. More info when I get it.

I gave my contact info to Mr. Larry Foos, Superintendent of Park & Recreation. And we have his contact info also.

Several, most a the folks against, live out near where they want to put it.
I would also ask ya'll to write Mr. Jim Skelton 5903 E. Skinner Wichita, KS 67218. He is Counsel member for Dist. 3. Ya could e-mail him at jskelton@wichita.gov also.

He is bound an determind to come home. Don't wanna die in no nursin home. I tend ta agree, even tho it is taken all my goof off time.
An if anyone wants to get mo involved contact Mr. Larry Foos @ lfoos@wichita.gov or 316.268.4124.

Don - do you have to have a contractor build the wheel chair ramp? I'm guessing there's enough skills here in the club that we could make it a weekender. Might cost you a few beers and some burgers. Let us know if we can help.

Talked with Don this evening, the contractors were recommended by one of the health care agencies. He said he appreciates the offer but dads being stubborn and insisting on staying at home and needs to foot the bill for it.

You never know, but I'm confident the beer cost estimate would offset the volunteer labor savings.

Well, he knows he has another option should that become necessary.

My thoughts exactly! I think Don feels a little like he's :bang: right now.
