Why would my DS front speaker blow?

I swapped my door speakers with Infinity Reference 6012i speakers from Crutchfield. Very pleased.

I found that JBL had a 5" job that just might fit in the teeny subwoofer holes. Should be arriving from Amazon this week.

Just curious to see if you got the 5" sub and if you installed it in the sub box. I have not been able to find them.

I have an extra 6.5" JL Audio Subwoofer that will fit the stock location but it is 8 ohms. $70 plus shipping. PM for details.
