Why is this great site becoming so aggravating to use?

I was in iT for 26 years and understand ads and sponsorships but this great site platform is becoming so annoying and aggravating to read with all the annoying scripts running in the background - I just gave up on reading it today, hate when im on topic and entire page refreshes on me due to some background script going haywire. Tried multiple devices, why do we have to suffer so much to use this great resource? Ads are fine but simple flow of information should follow, Please help, explain?

You clearly aren't logged in when this occurs. Ads for registered/logged in users are minimal, and always have been.
