It's all about balance, my friend. You take a step forward (say, a week fishing in the keys, hunting lobster, etc) and then you have to take two steps back (house electrical fire, plumbing disaster).

What little irish I have I've been putting in the wife...
Small things, everything went so well till this week, I knew it was coming. btw, when Costco's only sells one faucet and it's half the price of the others you've looked at that should be a red flag to everyone......but me apparently.
I gonna start drinking now.....

Oh, I see, you've got the same affliction I do: Scotch-Irish. Nothing worse than to have "The Luck of the Irish" and be cheap/a fxxxing tight-wad to boot.
And what's bad about spending less on a faucet, then watching it leak is you start doing the math in your head "How much more is that fxxxing drip going to add to the water bill every month (or if it's under the sink, 'how much s*** is it going to ruin' ) as compared to how much another new faucet is going to cost?"

I pulled it apart, it's leaking at the cartridge. Called the vendor, they're shipping one out today. The chick on the phone tells me to just "wrap it in electrical tape" till it gets here
Thank gawd for vasoline and teflon tape.....But if that fails, she's going back. damn, I'm soooooo close to finishing....

my problem is I'm cheap AND anal. the two don't do well together...
