Why are fridges usually placed as far back as possible?

I just use cans or coolers and a marine water pump for pressure. (SHURFLO fresh water pump).

The long ranger tanks split fuel and water. No sure if you have seen those, they are cool. Goes where the oem spare is.

I have looked into the long ranger. This is my lower budget alternative. I'm trying to keep my weight down as well. So we will see how that goes!

Walk on the wild side for a couple of trips by trying it both locations before you bolt it down figuratively.
