was it a lifted dark blue w a rear tire carrier? I see one sometimes at the school where I drop off my kid (their kid goes to same school).
Also looking for the owner of a topless tan 40 with a Cooper tire on the rear carrier. Saw it one day last week going south on Central ave near Elston. Black bezel.

The 62 near Beaubien? I've seen one over there a couple of times. The 40 I haven't seen yet. I did though get to see a restored Willies jeep today. It was pretty cool to see the similarities between that and the early LC's.

Bet I was smiling, too;). I've been driving this 40 alot, been great top-off with our nice weather. Just put the top back on a couple of days ago:frown:.

Been out here wrenching tonite. Thinking about painting that bezel white again...

My garage is [almost] always open, for cocktails and bench-racing:beer:, if you're in da hood...
 
When I saw you I was thinking of honking and telling you got a nice Jeep :) . But I was driving a Corolla and thought you would really get pissed, if only I was driving the 62 or 80. Thanks for the invite! Would like to see your National Parks car too. PM sent.
 
Will do, Archie. No garage-work for me for a bit, I got into a car crash at work and landed in ICU overnight, got to take it easy for a bit:frown:. But could've been much worse...
 
Don't worry, the 40 and the hot-rods are all OK, my pool car will probably be totalled, though...
